How to Manage or Cancel Your Subscription #
To manage your subscription with a new card or updated billing info associated with the card on file.
- ✅ Check your email for a message from support@ubuyfirst.com when you originally subscribed— It contains your license key and a subscription URL link.
- Click the link to open your subscription details page.
- From there, you’ll have the option to edit or cancel your subscription.
🔍 Before providing cancellation info, ask the user why they want to cancel if possible.
Upgrading or Downgrading #
- 🔄 There is currently no built-in way to upgrade or downgrade a subscription.
- Users must cancel the current plan and sign up for a new one.
- An easier upgrade/downgrade method is in development this year.

A: If you’re having issues activating your license or keep experiencing an activation loop after restarting, you can reset it by deleting the
license.lic
file located at:C:UsersYourUsernameAppDataRoaminguBuyFirst
Note: If you don’t see the AppData folder, enable Hidden Items in your File Explorer settings.
- How many devices can I activate my license on at the same time?
You can activate your license on up to three computers at the same time. Once you’ve hit the three-device limit, you’ll need to have your license reset before activating on any additional devices.
This is not a problem, simply message us through support or send an email to support@ubuyfirst.com, and we’ll reset your license activation limit.
- What should I do if I reach the three-device activation limit?
Email support@ubuyfirst.com with your license key to request a reset.

Currently, no. However, you can check out our Lite version for alternate device compatibility. We are actively working on expanding platform options in the future.

Normally no, but during peak times, using multiple devices could slightly affect performance. If you consistently need heavy usage across multiple devices, it’s better to have a second license.
- Can two users use UbuyFirst at the same time with one subscription?
Yes. Enterprise licenses allow up to three concurrent users. Free version allows only one device at a time.

Your account converts to the free version with limited functionality.

You need to have an Enterprise license to access Commit to Buy functionality. You must also opt-in within the app.
